It has good conductivity and corrosion resistance while enhancing solderabilty of substrates that are not otherwise soldered to.Tin is generally considered as non-toxic and non-carcinogenic and as such its use is generally approved for food contact applications.<br \/>\nBright tin and matte (solderable) tin.
